Swim Suit Ready!

So I have been trying really hard to get my before-baby-body back... It is a lot harder than I thought it would be! I don't have any weight to loose (thank goodness) but Nothing is toned! No one wants to see that in a swim suit! So Ive been trying to walk a lot because running is super hard now... I have to work up to that. I've also been doing INSANITY! Its the hardest work out video I have ever tried to do.. the first time i did it I only made it through the warm up and I was done and sweating like crazy! I suggest that video to anyone who needs to get into shape for summer. I can already tell a huge difference! WOOHOO! I love summer. Can't wait to get tan and be outside in the sun all day! Hopefully Cohen likes the sun too.... :) Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Well... I haven't written anything in a long time. So much has happened! We only one big thing... We finally have Cohen here and he is almost 3 months old. I can't believe how fast they grow! He is smiling and giggling (although he is very hard to amuse). We went on out first walk outside today because it was over 60! It was beautiful and he loved it. We love having him with us. He has made our lives so much more interesting and full. Being a mom is the most AMAZING job I have ever had! Although I may change my mind when he turns 2... but for now I will just enjoy what I have. My perfect little butter ball Cohen.

Well, I haven't blogged in a while... sorry! I have pics and news. Most of you know but me and Sam are having a BOY! Surprise Surprise in my fam huh! I can't believe I am already 20 weeks and Sam can't either... we just bought our crib and set it up and we are still thinking of names... right now its between Westin or Brooks. IDEAS WELCOME! I also introduced Sam to Las Vegas which was probably very interesting for him. I think everytime I go there the people get more weird! But here are some pictures!

Todays First

Today I had an amazing experience at the doctors. I got to hear the heartbeat of my baby for the first time. It was super fast and the doctor thinks I am having a girl but right now I could go for anything! It just made me smile. So for all of you moms out there, when you are mad at your kids, just remember how you felt the first time you heard your child's heartbeat and you will understand why you did this to yourself in the first place.

I love being pregnant.

Very Happy Birthday

My birthday was on Monday. I turned 21 and I feel no different. But I had a very great birthday. I started off by WORKING... so that wasn't so fun but then I got to go home and lay around and relax while i waited for Sam to get home. He brought me flowers and dinner and twilight! He also gave me a mani and pedi whenever I want and a new camera because ours is super old! My parents are getting me a bike which I am very excited for. Sams parents gave me cash so I can get whatever I want! And BEST of all. Tyler and Gabbie gave me Farkle and A SNUGGIE! Yes yes the commercial everyone makes fun of... a Snuggie. I loved it. Actually the best present was just hangin out with my family the day before for easter. They are so great. I love them very much.

Conference Weekend

So... this is my second time blogging. The last time I blogged was probably six months ago. I am not very good at this. Maybe its because I feel very feminine every time I do. We had a good conference weekend expect for Erica had to work 12 hours on Saturday, and she has to do it again tomorrow. Her company is a little crazy. I just have to go to school. I'm lazy. Erica will hate me for saying this, but hooray for the snow! More snow means more powder days for me! My friend Matt and me got some sweet vids last time we went boarding. Actually they are really not that cool. They just emphasize how bad I really am at snowboarding. Camping in winter?

The Wildings have a traditional trip they go on every winter. It's not quite Mexico... nope not Hawaii.... It is Moab, UT!! Yes they bare the cold cold weather and hike for 3 days in the snow. Now when I first heard I was going with them this year I was really kind of afraid I would freeze to death! But it was a very good experience for me. It was so much fun and I got to see beautiful sites that I have never even seen pictures of. These are some of our pictures that we took!

Being a Girl

Long story short. It was a rough week....
So my mom gave me a little bit of sympathy then told me to SUCK IT UP! Hearing that made me cry even harder. Well the day after my breakdown is so much better and I have been thinking of what my mom has taught me over the years...

1. Marry the right guy who will treat you like my dad treats my mom (Check!)
2. Be an Actress-- fake your mood if its bad and you will eventually forget why you are mad or sad
3. Always paint your toenails
4. You are a daughter of God who loves you
5. Forget about DRAMA!!
6. The only ones who will be there for you no matter what is your family.
7. Always present yourself like a Princess
8. We have so much that others don't
9. Whining is an ugly language (I haven't quite got that one yet)
10. She will always love me now matter how *Girly* I am

So this holiday season I've tried to think like my mom. What did she do when we were little and she had cramps? She served us and we had no idea that she was hurting. When she had a disappointment in life we had no idea that she was sad. So as I prepare to be a mother (even if its years away), I hope I can one day be a teacher, servant, and friend to my kids like my mother has been to us.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Holiday season. I hope that everyone can take the time to think of the things they truly want and love. I hope that we decide to give more than we recieve and know that we have so many people that love each and every one of us.

Wilding Christmas

The other day we started putting up our christmas stuff!! It is the best time of year and makes me so very happy! So here are some pictures of our first christmas. Hopefully it gets better every year!
Here is me fluffing the tree. A term we got from my dad. I had to do most of it because Sam didn't do it quite right.
Our finished Christmas tree. We are so proud of it. Sometimes I turn it on and just stare at its beauty.

My siz quirks

I have been tagged by Megan Hymas! So now I have to let you all know just how weird I really am.

Quirk #1: When I eat M&M's or Skittles or something colored I have to eat it by color and by the number of the same color. Let me explain... If I were to get 2 Reds 3 oranges and 4 Yellows I would have to separate them into color and then eat them according to the rainbow colors until there was the same number left in all the colors then I just eat them in rainbow order! If I don't do this I get bugged for the rest of the day... THANKS DAD

Quirk #2: Chocolate and diet soda make the world make sense to me. When I am having a rough day, all I have to do it taste either one and I'm ok for a while

Quirk #3: I won't ever let Sam load the dishwasher because I have a certain way I have to load things. Mostly the bowls and silverware. Sam doesn't mind it one bit because he doesn't ever have to do the dishes!

Quirk #4: Overactive Ovaries. I think I am supposed to have a lot of kids! Thats all I'm sayin.

Quirk #5: On rainy days, I crave hot chocolate and always want to watch Shrek. So I get in my sweats and curl up in a blanket and it makes me forget about the dark and dreary day.

Quirk #6: I think I am the mom. Whenever I am around lots of people, I am always nervous about kids falling down there stairs or getting hurt. I always tell people what to do (especially my siblings) even when my mom is sitting next to me. She might even be telling them the same exact thing at the exact same time, but I like to be in control of what people do.

Nothing to do is rare

Today is a special day. For the past couple months I've been the busiest girl ever with planning a wedding and trying to be a good wife but still work full-time and doing everything at the jewelry store the manager didn't (which was everything). So you ask why today is special... well its because I have absolutely NOTHING to do! Sam is at school and mom is out of town and everyone else has kids which I know keeps them occupied all the time. So I have this big out all by myself for the first time in months... and nothing to do!

So I have been looking at pictures and found some pretty cute ones!
Sam and I in Park City with the family over general conference weekend! It's weird being newlyweds in a house FULL of your family! But still so much fun. That weekend we had to sleep on bunk beds...Still in Park City, our very handsome men were going to the priesthood session of conference. Best looking guys there I'm sure.And us girls stayed home and cooked an amazing dinner for each other and then attempted to do some yoga... which didn't really happen because we got a little full from dinner.

Then we all went to the pumpkin patch in Orem and had so much fun going through the corn maze and picking out pumpkins and playing with the animals they had there! So many things happening this year and it's going by so quick!

Life is just amazing right now. It is still warm but the fall colors are here! We love them especially when it cheers up my dad so we went on a little family outing the other day...It was so much fun being with all the kids! Its giving Sam a little practice for a couple years down the road! :)

And those boys were terrors like usual but so dang cute that you can't get mad for one minute! Needless to say we had a blast! We are so lucky to live in such a beautiful world with such great people! Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

I know everyone is DYING to see pictures from the wedding.. well I am too! Our photographer is amazing so she works so hard getting everything perfect! Which I am OK with! But as soon as I get to see them I will post them I promise! And as for the honeymoon... it was wonderful! We went to Seattle and did pretty much everything you can possibly think of! We went to my old houses (which was probably boring for sam but I loved it!), we went to the space needle, a mariners game, the aquarium, pike place, and the zoo even! It was so much fun and we got lots of exercise walking everywhere. We also ate back all those calories with room service! It was perfect. Everything I could ever ask for! Love you guys and I'll post again soon!

Soon I will be Erica Lynne Wilding! It was perfect. He took me up on a mountain overlooking Provo, Springville, and Spanish Fork while the sun was setting. It was beautiful--almost like a dream proposal. He told me to close my eyes and he slipped a diamond on my finger! It was perfect. I am so lucky to have him for so many reasons. What I have realized...

So I haven't updated in a while! I thought I would just let everyone know I am alive and very very happy! I just started a new job at Fredmeyer Jewelers which is so much fun, I love it. And it is kind of perfect timing because I get amazing prices for diamonds! Lately I have been thinking a lot about weddings (who knows why probably because I've had to go to so many this summer!) so I have been looking at a lot of my mom and dads wedding photos...
... so cute huh! And I have been thinking a lot about how I want my life to be like in the years to come...
... and realized I want to be exactly like my parents. They are amazing. Talented, selfless, great teachers, friends, and they even make me laugh. Not a lot of girls my age can say that about their parents but us Mackay's are lucky to have such great role models. As I was thinking this I realize something else! If I wanted to be like them and have a guy like my dad. I am on the right track. If I marry the guy I am dating now, I will probably have the best life that I could ask for (and super cute kids).LOVE YOU MACKAY FAMILY!

Trip to Salt Lake

So my girlfriends and I went up to Salt Lake last Sunday and ended up at Temple Square which was absolutly gorgeous. The tullips were out and colorful and it was a perfect sunny day to just sit, look and the temple, and reflect. If you get the chance take the time to go soon. It will make you smile and brighten you day!

No everyone I'm not pregnant. Promise! But there will be a little one joining the mackay family sooner than later! I decided I'm getting a puppy! A Siberian Husky to be exact. I have a few names picked out too and I need your advice!

Reminiscing....

I was going through the pictures on my phone and saw this one. It is probably my favorite place in the state of Washington. Snowqualemie Falls is where I could go with friends and family on a nice saturday or sunday afternoon and I would think about things. I miss it so much. That was last summer when we all went to Seafair at the Croshaws. A very memorable trip and I loved being here with my family! I can't wait to go there this summer too!

Feeling a little left out... but not really!

So today I am really super bored at work so I decided to look at everyones blogs! Not only am I one of the only non-married girl who has a blog but I don't have any kids to brag about either! It kind of made me feel a little left out! But then I thought about yesterday. All five grandkids were at the house plus Tyson and Tyler which is pretty much equal to like 4 more kids and all of a sudden I wasn't so baby-hungry anymore! Don't get me wrong, I love the kids to death but it's very nice that at the end of the day... I get to give them back when they are tired and cranky :) It's nice when they fall asleep on you, even if they drewl on you, and then I go put them down in their crib and go upstairs and don't have to get up with them in the middle of the night. For some reason I don't think that's what it will be like when I have my own kids so I will just enjoy it now with nephews and my beautiful little niece. Then maybe in about 5 years I can try it myself, if I'm married by then of course.

Conference and My birthday!

So Finally I am 20 years old. I think I have been waiting for this day for a long time. Now no one can call me a teenager again! It was probably one of the best birthdays ever. Even though my mom was out of town and my dad was at meetings, everyone came over to share the day with me. I love having the family over and it was such a gorgeous day! I got running shoes from my mom and when she gets home we are going shopping for some other things for me. So I am a very lucky girl.

Some of us had the opportunity to go to the spring Conference. It was my first time going ever and I absolutely loved it. There was such a great spirit there. When the prophet walked in everyone went silent. It was the weirdest but greatest thing I've ever experienced. Tys and Linds and me and Sam went in one car and then Kylee and Brad joined us there. Well, since Tyson and Lindsey want everyone to be happily married like them they made Sam and I take a picture by the conference center for our "Wedding Video" (which for now is non-exsistant). They first wanted us to take one by the temple but I quickly walked right through to avoid that! Though it may have been a mistake to drive with Tys and Linds anywhere close to Temple Square, I wouldn't change that experience for anything. Being there with the people I love most and sharing those moments with them was amazing.

The first song on my list is first because well it's the theme song for Enchanted which is probably my favorite movie EVER. And second because from the beginning of time my family and I have always joked about how I thought I was Cinderella because they would always ask me to do everything for them (probably because I was the youngest before Courtney came along) so I thought it was appropriate for me to think I'm going to have a very Happy Ever After just like Gisele does in Enchanted with my Prince Charming.

Today I have had a lot of time to think at work of life and it's meaning. Everyone makes mistakes but I think that it is the time when we aren't making mistakes that we need to try harder to not make mistakes. Life is just a confusing subject. It can be amazing one minute and terrible the next. Why? Well we have to wait to ask God that question when we meet him. For now I just have to do my best to get there and that is all I have to worry about. Material things like making money to pay for school and buying the things that I want aren't going to matter. It's the people I meet and love that do. Because they are the ones I'm going to be with for the rest of eternity.

My Blogging Experience

So far so good I guess. I am not very computer savy but I think I am really going to love blogging! Mostly I just like to look at everyones cute pictures and see how everyone is doing. Plus it makes time go faster when I am at work. I have a great job at the hospital working as a receptionist but sometimes, well all the time, it can get a little... boring! So I try to keep myself busy by making lists and reading gossip magazines. You know, mind numbing stuff like that! It's hard work being me. I am actually looking for new positions in the hospital so if anyone knows of any let me know!
